This is Jay's second summer running a swim camp at the University of Puget Sound.
Having served as camp director for five summers at Kalamazoo College's Nike Swim Camp, Jay brings a wealth of swim camp experience to the deck at Wallace Pool.
Jay just wrapped up his second season as head swimming coach at the University of Puget Sound, where Logger Swimmers earned 31 top-3 finishes at the NWC Championships.
16 Loggers (9 men, 7 women) earned all conference honors. The Loggers won 9 events at the 2024 NWC Swimming Championships, taking down 4 school records in the process.
Trever is currently an assistant coach at the University of Puget Sound as well as a Professor of Nutrition and Anatomy & Physiology at Tacoma Community College.
Prior to UPS, Trever coached at University Place Aquatic Club where he coached the 2023 Pacific Northwest Speedo Sectional Champion in the Men's 50 free. He also coached teams to successful seasons in high school swimming, leading the Garfield High School Boys to a state championship in 2001.
As an athlete, Trever was a 2 time Olympic Trails Qualifier, a NCAA All American and record holder at the University of Arizona.
